If you believe you have a medical emergency or any condition requiring immediate attention, call your doctor or 911 immediately.
Rules of Use
FIRST TIME USERS
Do not use adhesive products on a daily basis. Allowa full 72 hours for your skin to breathe. Extended use could cause discomfort or irritate the skin. When applying adhesive tape for the first time, leave it on for no more than three to four hours at a time. Once your skin is familiar with the adhesive, you may utilise them for longer priods of time. Using these longer than recommended, might cause discomfort and potential harm. Please acquaint yourself with the tape in advance if you know you will need it for an all-day event. It is strongly advised that you test the tape on a patch of skin to make sure you do not have any inadvertent reactions. Keep in mind you should never wear our items for longer than you find comfortable. Be particularly careful if spending a lot of time in the sun or warm weather. Extended exposure to harsh sunlight or high temperatures may increase the likelihood of harm as the adhesive's bond strongthens. We advise a safe wearing period of 6-8 hours if you have previously worn our tape or adhesive bra without experiencing any reactions. Even with experience, skin warming can occur, so please carefully read the advice below.
HEAT & HEAVY PERSPIRATION
The heat-activated, hypoallergenic adhesive in our products is powerful and forms a stronger bond with the skin as your body temperature rises. This explains why our tape is waterproof and sweat-proof as well. Please be advised there is a chance of developing water blisters which may rupture when the tape is removed, and proceed with caution when removing.
DIRECT SUNBATHING
We advise against exposing Flauntress products to prolonged sunlight exposure. High temperatures have the potential to make our products extremely sticky, which could lead to skin irritation or other damage and make removal challenging. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun or heat despite these complications only happening to a small percentage of users. Consumers who decide to defy these guidelines and wear the tape in extremely hot or sunny environments do so at their own risk.
DO NOT APPLY TO SUNBURNT SKIN
Skin that has been sunburnt is already sensitive and inflamed. Applying an adhesive might result in increased skin tearing or blistering, as well as increased discomfort and soreness. DO NOT put our products on damaged, inflamed, or sunburnt skin
MATURE SKIN
Mature skin is thinner by nature, and may be more prone to marking. Patch testing is advised for users 50 years of age and over (strongly advised for users of all ages). To help the skin adjust, we advise applying them for brief periods of time—no more than three hours—and gradually increasing the duration when sure there is no discomfort. All users may experience skin discomfort from prolonged usage.
SELF TAN
Flauntress adhesive can remove any self-tan from the region and occasionally leaves a temporary mark on the skin.
ALWAYS REMOVE WITH OIL
Never use water or dry skin to attempt to remove the tape. Our products are waterproof so you MUST use oil (baby oil or coconut oil) or medical tape remover. Apply oil all over the tape's surface, completely covering the fabric, and let it sit for at least five minutes. Oil will aid in the adhesive's dissolution and stop the skin from pulling during removal. Begin peeling off the product from a corner, while holding the skin down and applying pressure.
USE CONSIDERATIONS
ALLERGY-PRONE/SENSITIVE SKIN
Although our tape is hypoallergenic, do not use Flauntress adhesive goods if you are allergic to acrylic, elastane, adhesives, or comparable items like band-aids (plasters). Use caution when using our products and see a doctor if you are unclear if you have any sensitivities. In the event of burning, itching, irritation, or discomfort, remove the tape immediately and stop using it. Seek medical advice if necessary.
HEAT RASHES
Please exercise particular caution and limit the trial period to one or two hours if you are prone to heat rashes or red, heated skin.
RED MARKS/BUMPS OR SWIRLS ON THE SKIN?
Skin sensitivity differs between people; in rare cases, individuals may see redness, elevated pimples, or mild skin discolouration following use. After removing the tape, it's common to notice these as the tape causes blood flow to the area, which gives the pores a darker or pinker appearance. This is usually temporary, and should go away after the adhesive is tremoved and the skin cools. You should stop using and see a doctor if you develop longer-lasting discolouration, redness, or irritation.
